Description
High-Performance Stand-Alone CNC Glass Cutting
The Vetromac SA33-26 is a stand-alone CNC cutting machine developed for professional float glass processors requiring efficient automatic loading, high cutting accuracy and reliable long-term operation.
The machine is designed to process glass sheets up to 3,300 × 2,600 mm and glass thicknesses ranging from 2 to 19 mm. With a maximum cutting speed of 200 m/min and positioning accuracy of ±0.15 mm, the SA33-26 delivers the productivity and repeatability required for demanding industrial glass production.
Integrated Hydraulic Loading System
The SA33-26 is equipped with an integrated hydraulic loading system. Its specially designed tilting loading arms allow the glass sheet to be loaded and unloaded in a single movement.
The Vetromac SA loading concept is designed to complete the loading operation in just 15 seconds, reducing manual handling and improving the overall production cycle.
The hydraulic loading bars are protected with a plastic coating to help prevent direct metal contact with the glass surface during handling.
Glass Floating System
The integrated Glass Floating System creates an air cushion underneath the glass sheet, allowing large sheets to be positioned and moved smoothly across the working surface.
Each machine module is equipped with its own blower, providing efficient and evenly distributed air flotation across the complete table surface.
Engineered for Accuracy and Durability
The SA33-26 features a rigid steel cutting bridge designed to maintain long-term structural accuracy. Unlike conventional aluminium bridge systems, Vetromac uses a steel bridge combined with double linear guides and recirculating ball bearings on both the bridge and the cutting head.
An ultra-low-friction scoring cylinder provides controlled and consistent cutting pressure, supporting precise scoring across different glass thicknesses.
CNC-Machined Modular Construction
Vetromac machines are manufactured using a modular construction system in which the mechanical components are CNC-machined and mechanically assembled.
The structure is designed without welded joints in the precision mechanical sections. This construction method helps maintain dimensional accuracy, simplifies component replacement and supports long-term serviceability.
Adjustable and Replaceable Work Surface
The machine’s working surface is divided into individual adjustable and interchangeable panels.
This system allows the table surface to be levelled accurately and enables individual worn panels to be replaced without replacing the complete working surface. It reduces maintenance costs and helps extend the operating life of the machine.
Designed for Low Total Cost of Ownership
The SA33-26 combines high productivity, accessible maintenance, replaceable modular components and a durable mechanical structure.
This design philosophy supports reduced downtime, lower maintenance costs and a high remaining value throughout the machine’s operating lifecycle.
